Living Expenses

Asking for help can be hard, but at times it’s needed.

Living Expenses are reasonable funds in which the courts may approve to assist you during your adoption and for a timeframe during your postpartum recovery.

The funds provided to you are from the adoptive parents and are meant to ease your financial stress during your pregnancy, but may not cover 100% of your living expenses.

Living Expenses are NOT payment for your child, relinquishment of parental rights, or consent to adoption. These are rather funds that have been allocated to assist you with basic needs like food, partial (or potentially full) rent payments, etc. These are needs based and must be approved by the courts.

Our Approach

We trust in the integrity of each person we work with. We trust that if you decide that you want to parent you’ll be open and honest so we can be fair to the adoptive family, while also working with you to try to secure other resources to continue to meet your needs.

Lasting impact

We believe in the integrity and honesty of the people we serve; and will always encourage open & honest transparent conversations.
