Living Expenses are reasonable funds in which the courts may approve to assist you during your adoption and for a timeframe during your postpartum recovery.

The funds provided to you are from the adoptive parents and are meant to ease your financial stress during your pregnancy, but may not cover 100% of your living expenses.

Living Expenses are NOT payment for your child, relinquishment of parental rights, or consent to adoption. These are needs based and must be approved by the courts.
