You may hope to select a local family, or prefer to select a family of a certain faith to care for your child, perhaps memories of cooking with your mum make you wish for a parent who is a chef, or helping a same-sex couple achieve their goals of being parents is at the top of your list.

Whatever is important to you in finding your perfect family is also important to us. We want you to feel comfortable in expressing the characteristics, values, goals, and etcetera that you would like your child to grow up with.

Can I view profiles of waiting families through the Starr Adoption Services website?

Yes! While not all of our families are on our website you can view families by clicking VIEW SAS ADOPTIVE FAMILIES We are here to help. And you will still be able to select a family for your child. This is one of the many important adoption choices that you have in creating your plan.

How can I connect with adoptive families looking to adopt?

Your Starr Options Counselor will set up traditional or video calls for you to connect with adoptive families you are interested in matching with. We want for everyone to feel comfortable about the adoption match.
