We are Ben and Jonathan, and we are so excited about becoming parents. We actually discovered we both wanted children on our second date almost seven years ago. Since then, we’ve been building a life centered around love, family, and a lot of laughter. Since meeting, we moved from Chicago to the suburbs, bought a home, got married, and adopted two cats who are a big part of our happy family.

Our personalities complement each other well. Jonathan is thoughtful, organized, and loves bringing people together, while Ben is active, creative, and always finds ways to make everyday life fun. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, hosting holidays, and having relaxing nights at home watching movies or playing games. Family is incredibly important to both of us, and we feel lucky to have a close-knit support system that is excited to welcome a child into our lives.

What excites us most about becoming parents is the opportunity to create a home where a child feels supported, encouraged, and deeply loved. We look forward to the everyday moments just as much as the big milestones: bedtime stories, holiday traditions, cheering them on at activities, and helping them grow into whoever they are meant to be. We will raise a child with kindness, curiosity, and confidence.

We also want you to know how much respect we have for you and the journey you are on. We can only imagine how emotional this process may be, and we admire the love and strength it takes to consider an adoption plan. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us and the life we hope to share with a child.

Traveling is one of our many hobbies. We also enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, hosting holidays, and having relaxing nights at home watching movies or playing games.
