Yes, Starr Adoption Services offers counseling to expectant parents. We understand that adoption is a big decision and want to offer you the support that you may need to process through the many emotions you may be experiencing.

Each parent is recommended to participate in at least one therapy session to decide if it is a service you feel you may benefit from. While not required, counseling may help you process your decision, feelings, managing through conversations with your family about your adoption plan, and preparing for the grief and loss that you may experience around an adoption.

This service continues to be available to you post your adoption. Starr Adoption Services is here to offer this support as needed over the years post placing your child for adoption.
