Does Starr Adoption Services provide counseling for birth parents?

Yes, this isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what we believe in & how we hope to assist you. We’re here to support YOU through the range of emotions that you may have with your adoption process & the practicalness of ensuring that you understand the adoption process. From Starr Adoption Services counseling to coffee with your dedicated adoption specialist we have your support needs covered.

Plus, you will be offered both counseling services & legal counseling services during your plan. In this section we will be discussing traditional counseling/therapy services.

Each parent is recommended to participate in at least one therapy session to decide if it is a service you feel that you may benefit from. While not required, we like to offer the additional support to you to aide in fulling processing your decision, processing through YOUR UNIQUE STORY, and preparing for the grief and loss that you may experience around an adoption.

If you decide that this is not the best time to start therapy you are ALWAYS invited to come back for LIFE LONG ADOPTION COUNSELING SERVICES.
