Hello, and thank you for being here. We know that finding yourself on this page means you're facing one of the most profound decisions a person can make, and we want you to know that we see you, we respect you, and we are so grateful you're taking the time to learn about us. We're Michael and Ben, a married couple living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and we have dreamed about becoming fathers for years. We came to adoption wholeheartedly: it's always been our path. Both of us have seen how adoption shapes a family in beautiful ways. Together we believe, with everything we have, that love is what makes a family, and we’re excited to be on this path together.
Our life is joyful, and we can't wait to share it. We live in a spacious, sunny home on a quiet cul-de-sac, just a short walk from a lake, a beach, and trails through a state park. Ben is a nurturing, steady presence who spent a decade as a choir teacher before building a career in business; he brings patience, calm, and a deep love of growth to everything he does. Michael is playful, warm-hearted, and deeply empathetic; he’s a former theater director who has a gift for making every person in a room feel seen and loved. Together, we cook dinners, tend our garden, cheer each other on, and take long evening walks with our two very spoiled (and very lovable) hairless cats, Peanut and Pickle. We value fun, honesty, silliness, hard work, and restful time together.
