Hello, I’m Muriel, the owner of Starr Adoption Services, a private adoption agency dedicated to supporting children and families through the adoption journey.
For me, adoption is about much more than creating families—it’s about walking alongside people during one of the most significant and emotional experiences of their lives. I believe every person involved in adoption deserves to be treated with compassion, dignity, honesty, and respect.
As the owner of this agency, I’m committed to creating a supportive and personalized experience for expectant parents, adoptive parents, and children. I understand that every adoption story is unique, and my goal is to provide guidance, education, encouragement, and resources while helping each family navigate the process with confidence and care.
I’m honored to do this work and grateful for the opportunity to be part of so many meaningful stories. At Starr Adoption Services, we strive to make the adoption process feel less overwhelming and more personal—one relationship, one decision, and one family at a time.

With over 20 years of experience in the adoption field, I began my career in foster care and adoption, building a strong foundation in supporting children and families. I now work in private adoption, where I am passionate about helping build families and strengthening our community. I believe every adoption journey deserves thoughtful guidance, respect, and care for everyone involved.
I am especially excited to be part of Starr Adoption Services because of its high moral standards and its genuine dedication to providing supportive and ethical services. Being part of a team that prioritizes integrity and compassion allows me to continue doing the work I love while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

I have over 20 years of experience in social services, with a strong foundation in supporting; children, youth, & families through case management, crisis intervention, care coordination, & systems navigation. My professional background has consistently focused on providing stable, trauma-informed support to vulnerable populations while ensuring safety, structure, & continuity of care.
I have supported individuals through complex and high-need situations by completing assessments, developing individualized service plans, & connecting families to appropriate community resources.
I hold dual Master’s degrees in Social Work and Business Administration, which strengthen my ability to balance compassionate, client-centered care with strong organizational and programmatic execution.

Art & Graphic Design With an impressive history as a freelance graphic designer and artist. My laid back, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help demeanor seemed to be a great addition to the Starr Adoption Services Team.
