You’ve been added to the Waiting Families List, this is a huge step in your process, and can sometimes be a stressful and anxiety inducing phase of the adoption process. Rest assured we are by your side every step of the way.
Starr Family Services maintains a waitlist of fewer than 25 prospective adoptive families. This approach affords our staff time to dedicate to each adoptive family & to be available for questions or support.
While the national average for private adoption wait times is 5-7 years, our goal is placement in 24 months, while this is not a guarantee our team of adoption specialist have worked to realize this goal with a prior agency and believe our skills will do the same here.
Counseling services are also available to our families to work through the stress of adoption planning or a possible
Our staff Adoptive Parent’s Team is generally available from Monday - Friday 9am-6pm MST.
